The Loanfinder team suffered some of the worst conditions on the day they climbed up to the summit with most of the team suffering sleep deprivation, headaches and tiredness, plus 75 mph winds and temperatures below 24 degrees celsius... they weren't put off and the team battled on to make it to the top.
The Loanfinder team raised over £10,000 for Julia’s House. The money raised will go towards improving the over-night stay facilities at the house, as they open their doors to children with life-limiting conditions at night as well as during the day giving care and support.
At Loanfinder UK our staff regularly take part in events such as these to help raise invaluable money for charities. The Kilimanjaro Challenge took place on the 31st July with staff taking part in the incredibly arduos climb up this amazing mountain in order to raise money for Julia's House - a very worthwhile charity that Loanfinder UK regularly raises money for. Julia's House cares for children with life threatening conditions.
