Richmond Group Support

Some staff from the Richmond Group for which Loanfinder is a part of attended and helped out at the annual Variety Club Show on Bournemouth Pier. 500 special needs and under privileged children from different schools were entertained by children’s entertainer, dance troupe, magician and juggler as well being given free rides on the Carousel. The staff from Bournemouth took time out to help the teachers from each school where they had to go and also help with the rides. As well as this they put together and supplied each child with a party bag to go home with. One of the members of the group praised the event and the charity and quoting it was “amazing to see first hand a sea of smiles and meet some great kids with a lot of character”.

Variety Club Events

Variety club events are varied and strongly supported throughout the year to help raise money for these children including Horse Racing, a Gastronomic evening and the Young Variety Bowl-a-rama. They have also just announced Alisha Dixon as the Ambassador of the 2010 Gold Heart campaign. The Gold Heart campaign has raised nearly £20 million for sick and disabled children across the UK.
